A former teacher at Magnolia Junior High School has been arrested for allegedly arranging sexual encounters between underage girls and adult men.

A 12 and 13 year-old girl were taken to hotel rooms to have sex with adult men. And these encounters were arranged not just by a teacher, but also a relative.

Donna Lou Sander, 46, is facing 10 counts of rape and 12 counts of permitting abuse of a minor.

According to Magnolia police, a 15-year-old boy told investigators that Sanders would drive the victims to his home and then transport them to a cabin. She would leave them for two or more hours at the cabin where they engaged in oral sex and intercourse.

Sanders is also accused of transporting the victims to an El Dorado hotel room on two different occasions where they engaged in sexual contact and intercourse.

(David Butler, prosecuting attorney) "I've been a prosecuting attorney since about 1988 and this is one of the most bizarre cases I've ever seen because I don't understand it and there appears to be no motive."

Sanders is currently undergoing treatment at a mental health facility in Magnolia.

I agree teachers just ain't what they used to be that is for sure.


I am a tad confused what was the purpose of involving the 15 year old boy who reported her? Why take them to his house instead of straight to the hotel? What was the purpose?
I guess I am assuming again that criminals have brains and it should make sense.
I agree with the prosecutor this is a confusing case. I just hope not to confusing for him to prosecute and get jail time I hope they are not going to let her take the mental defense out of this.
