Christy Wise promised a fun senior weekend.

It was supposed to be a fun senior weekend for these soon to be Coffee High grads. The students had their clothes packed for a trip to Disney World for $250.00. as they were promised, but when the bus didn't arrive Friday morning at Coffee High and Christy Wise was no where to be found, students and their parents became very angry.

So now the 43 students must unpack their bags because they won't be taking a senior trip because a school employee, 39-year-old Christy Wise, took them for their money. Detectives with the Douglas Police Department and the Coffee County Sheriffs Office questioned Wise who they learned had collected more than $7,400.00 for the trip she never booked. Now she's being held in the Coffee County Jail charged with 1 felony count of theft by conversion.

School officials say the senior trip Wise told students she was planning to book was not a school sponsored trip and Coffee High cannot be held responsible for refunding their money.

Thanks Lizard!!! Ewwww and the zits on her chin. She is one ugly bitch. Those poor kids worked hard for the little spending money that they gave her for the trip, I wouldn't want to be a parent of one of those kids that had to see the look of disapointment on their faces, it would have broke my heart.

What a Bitch! I say the parents get together and kick her ass...can't make her any uglier than she already is. I hope they can recoop the money she took. They should make her sell anything she owns like furniture, electronics, etc..to pay back these kids and their parents.

I have to say this, though, I probably would have been skeptical about handing over a blank check, but that is just because I assume everyone is trying to scam me....:D. I also would have expected that if this was as school sponsored trip, they would have had to sign some sort of a permission slip or something. I'm not sure if they still do that in High School, but because of liability reasons I am sure the school would have had to cover their asses. Again, I am just always convinced people are scamming me and I trust no one....so this is just my honest opinion.....:p

News of the scam made it all the way down to Orlando. And it wasn't the kind of tale they enjoy hearing.

In fact, the people at Disney don't like unhappy endings so they've invited 60 seniors from Coffee High to spend the day at the park.
