Tater Tot,,The Wonder Dog Found Three Days After Crash

MANCHESTER. N.H. --
A Vermont couple has been reunited with their dog who disappeared in Manchester during a car crash on Thursday.

Tater Tot was found in the exact location where her owner's car flipped over on Interstate 93 between exits 8 and 9 in Manchester.

Trish Dale was seriously injured and as EMTs were taking her out of the car, their two dogs escaped through the windows. One was found, but their six-year-old yellow lab retriever named Tater Tot took off through traffic.

A search team of about 50 people gathered on Sunday and organizers said one of the searchers drove by the location and spotted the dog on the side of the road.

Rather than possibly scare the animal, the woman called Tater Tot's owner, John Dale, who came with his second dog to gather his missing four-legged friend.

The couple and their two dogs were reunited at the Hilton Inn in Manchester where they'd been staying during their search for Tater Tot.http://www.wmur.com/news/22977118/detail.html

I can't imagine what it must have been like for her. I already worry if I haven't seen my cat in the last half hour (he's rather social). I couldn't imagine thinking that he may be laying somewhere in need of help and dying, and doing it all alone.

I'm going to hug my cat when I get home now.

It is nice to have a good outcome once in a while. I just lost my beloved dog to a herniated disk at 7.5 years old..... I'm glad they found their dog and are reunited. It would mean the world to have my dog back.
