ADA COUNTY — An Ada County woman is in jail after being arrested on charges of lewd conduct with a minor under 16. Ada County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Andrea Dearden said Health and Welfare officials contacted investigators after receiving a tip about a consensual relationship between Sara Ann Murphy, 20, and a 15-year-old girl. The family was aware of the relationship and Murphy was living in the same home as the teenager, Dearden said.

The mother of 4 kids is accused of allowing her oldest daughter to be sexually abused by an older woman living with them. Kathrine Weaver faces four counts of injury to a child, and a felony charge of aiding and abetting lewd conduct with a minor.
A month long Police investigation alleges that Weaver knew her minor daughter was sexually involved with 20-year-old Sara Ann Murphy.
All four children were removed from the house, the three youngest children because of alleged unsanitary conditions inside the home.
