ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Palm Beach County authorities said a man who jumped out of a stolen U-Haul truck died after it ran over his head.
"For some unknown reason the driver decided to open the driver's side door and leap from the U-haul while the U-haul was still traveling," said Sgt. Pete Palenzuela with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
Willie Lee Thomas III was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center Monday afternoon where he was pronounced dead from severe head trauma.
