Thieves Saw Off Pieces Of Statue Dedicated To Soldier

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. -- Police in Lincoln Park are searching for vandals who destroyed a statue dedicated to a soldier who lost his life in Iraq.

All that remains of the statue in Veteran’s Park is a pair of bronze boots. The rest of the memorial has been pried away.

The memorial was built about eight months ago for Sgt. Craig Frank, a member of the Michigan National Guard who died in Iraq in 2004.http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/22350848/detail.html
