Middle School Cafeteria Worker Debbie Kissell Gives Out More Than Lunch

IL – A Ludlow Middle School cafeteria worker is accused of sex abuse of a male teenager and of sending him text messages and lewd photos.

Deborah Kissell, 32, was arraigned and pleaded innocent Tuesday to charges of indecent solicitation of a child under 17 years old and criminal sexual abuse of a child.

Kissell met the teenager in 2005 at the school cafeteria where she worked and the boy, then 14, also worked. She drove the teen to a rural location and performed a sex act with him.

On April 9, the teen's parents found 77 text messages and nude photos sent by Kissell on the boy's cell phone and they called the sheriff's office. The messages encouraged the teen to have sex with her.

Kissell told investigators that the boy kissed her against her wishes and denied any sex act with him.
