The Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in finding a 15-year-old girl who may have run away in the company of a 32-year-old man.

Sadey Nicole Fite was last seen March 13 when deputies arrived at a home at 2228 S.E. 32nd St. to respond to a domestic dispute, and she ran from them, according to a press release.

Sadey might be in the company of Indiantown resident Jose Luis Tagle, who has been involved with child runaways in the past, according to the release.

She is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 115 pounds. She has brownish-blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Tagle is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 187 pounds. He has black hair which he wears shaved, according to the report.

Anyone with information about Sadey or Tagle's whereabouts is asked to contact the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office at (863) 763-3117.

She was found safe and he is now in prison.

An endangered 15-year-old Okeechobee girl was found Sunday afternoon and arrested thanks to a tip from a concerned citizen, according to a news release from the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office.

On Sunday afternoon, the Okeechobee Police Department received a tip that Fite was in a vehicle near the Parrot Avenue Wal-Mart Supercenter, and Officer Russell Cale stopped the vehicle to investigate.

Fite was charged with domestic violence battery and resisting an officer without violence, according to the release. She was booked into the Okeechobee County Jail and then transferred to the Fort Pierce Juvenile Detention Center.

The adult driver of the vehicle was not Tagle but could be charged in the case. Tagle is still missing, according to the release.
