Police say a neighbor had called authorities around 3 a.m. Friday to report a barefoot toddler outside. The partially blind boy was wearing only pajamas and was crying.
Police found the boy's mother, Tricia Haar, and her boyfriend, Benjamin Lucero, at a nearby apartment. The couple had been drinking and did not know the boy was even gone.
