Spartanburg, SC (WSPA) - A missing 15-year-old is being sought by the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office says that 15-year-old Melissa Ann Simpson was last seen on Tuesday at the University School in Spartanburg. Simpson, who is in the custody of the Department of Social Services, is believed to be in danger because she requires four shots of insulin each day for diabetes.
The Sheriff Office says they believe Simpson is with 29-year-old Daniel Scott Martin, who has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Simpson is a former Byrnes High student and has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans. The Sheriff's Office says that she may have cut her hair short.
Martin drives a red Chevy S-10 pickup truck that is possibly a lowrider.
If anyone has any information as to their whereabouts, they are asked to call the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office at 864... or 911
