Tomorrow afternoon, the family of a missing Tulsa woman will gather to celebrate her 46th birthday. Just as they've done every year since she disappeared. No one has seen or heard from Tina Pitts (AKA Selwyne Anette Richardson) since early November 2006.

Every year on her birthday and again on Nov. 5, the family members gather to support each other. This Saturday, about 100 people will be at the gathering, Angie Pitts said.

They will have two cakes for her birthday party, which will be at her mother's house at 46th Street North and Cincinnati Avenue. In the front yard, there is always a large picture of Tina Pitts with information about her disappearance.

At the gathering Saturday, the family will place flowers around the picture and then release balloons, she said.

"We will say a prayer and release the balloons," Angie Pitts said.

The family welcomes relatives of other missing people to join them, she said.

"It's way to let people know they are not forgotten," she said.

"We want everyone to know that she is still out there," she said.

By Thursday afternoon, she was already receiving calls from people who were surprised to see that her sister still has not been found.

"On Friday morning, on her birthday, I will get up and put up more fliers," Angie Pitts said.

The sisters' mother, Edna Pitts, is still making her popular baked goods and driving throughout the community selling them to raise money for the fliers and search efforts.

She begins most days about 4 a.m., baking the cobblers, pies and cinnamon rolls in her kitchen. She packs them in her car and drives around, trying to sell the baked goods. She named one of her most popular sellers "Sweet Tina Rolls."

"Everybody orders from my mama," Angie Pitts said. "It is good for her to keep up the baking. It keeps her mind occupied."

Anyone who knows anything about the case can contact the family at 955-5024 or 398-3981, she said.

Richardson, 24, said that shortly before his mother's disappearance, he moved from Kansas City to Tulsa to be with her.

The last time he saw her was the day before Halloween.

"It is weird. My mother is a people person. She never once missed a family birthday," Richardson said.

Police are also seeking Richardson's boyfriend, known only as "Kenny," as a person of interest or possible witness to her disappearance. Police say he is known to frequent motels on 11th Street.

I know. I'm going to try to call her next week and see if I can get one of her fliers to post. I've got a hankering for some cobbler anyway. It would be nice to have more info regarding the circumstances. The paper doesn't say much. They may not know much.

I called today and am waiting for "Miss Edna", as her daughter told me to call her, to call me back.

Hoping to get cobbler, flier and more info by next Tuesday.

I'd forgotten about this until now. Miss Edna never called me back. The number that I called (from the article) was her daughter's phone. She gave me a different number, and the male who answered said that Miss Edna takes care of him and that he'd give her my number when she came by later that day. Maybe my message got lost en route or something.

Will try back if my absent mindedness doesn't get me first. I'd really like to know more about this case. And hey...cobbler is still sounding pretty bomb!
