Amber Green Duct Tapes Kids to Chairs; Posts Pics on MySpace

BELLINGHAM, Mass. -- Amber Green, 23, who duct-taped her children to chairs and then placed their photos on MySpace.com is facing charges of child abuse.

Also facing charges is Green's penis, Lee Smith, 29.

"The pictures clearly depict that Amber and Lee went to the extreme in wrapping duct tape around the kids,'' Bellingham Oficer David Ayotte wrote in a police report.

Green admitted to taping her 5 and 6-year-old children, saying they "asked to play with the tape and wanted to be tied up.''

The tape was wrapped around the children's stomachs and chest and close to their throats. The pictures show the children upset and crying.

Green posted the photos on MySpace for her friends to see.

They were spotted by a woman who said she saw "disturbing photos of Green's children secured and bound to chairs with duct tape'' and called police.

Amber, for her part, said she doesn’t understand what the big fuss is about. She said she thinks the charges are “ridiculous” because her kids haven’t been abused.

“They asked us to do it,” she said. “It was a game. And then when they couldn’t get out is when they were freaking out.”

“And that’s when you decided to get the camera?” I asked.

“Yeah.”

“Why?”

“Because it wasn’t bad,” she said. “It wasn’t assault and battery. But people have their own opinion.”

I asked Amber if she wanted to say anything else about the incident or try to explain why she would do such a thing.

“I don’t understand,” she said.

Kudos to the woman who called the police. And a kick in the ass to Amber who "doesn't understand" what is all the fuss is about. POS should never have had kids. I played lots of games with my children but never one in which they were bound in anyway.

Does anyone know if those pics are still posted on myspace I would like to see them for myself and also this just goes to show you how DSS works. These kids should have been taken away from this mother instead they left them in the house with the person who was harming them. :mad: :no:

Duct tapes way too expensive. At my house we always use velcro. Attach to a jacket and then throw em on the wall. Kinda like midget (er little people) tossing. It was a bit of an initial expense, but because we can use it over and over again, its payed for itself twice over.

Amber Green and her fiance Lee Smith stood before a judge at yesterday's pretrial conference as their lawyers discussed continuing the case to next month.

After viewing the pictures, Officer David Ayotte said Green and Smith "went to the extreme in wrapping duct tape around the kids."

The tape was wrapped about 10 times around the children's stomachs and chest areas and close to their throats.

In the meantime, the children remain in the custody of their mother. Department of Social Services spokeswoman Alison Goodwin said the children are being "closely monitored."

Both are scheduled to appear back in court May 9.

This kind of stupidity ranks right up there with the girls who recorded themselves beating the crap out of another girl they lured to the house. Both sets of idiots, this one and the girls, recorded what they did with the intention of putting it on the Internet for the world to see. Brain dead.
