A MOTHER-TO-BE who stabbed her boyfriend after she accused him of flirting with other women was spared jail yesterday.
Sharon Lynch, 41, pulled on gloves to stab Joseph Roach, 22, with a kitchen knife at their flat in Middlesbrough.
He was wounded on the left side of his chest, close to his lower ribs. The attack followed a six hour drinking session, said Sam Andrews, prosecuting at Teesside Crown Court.

The couple had been in a relationship for five years, and she told police that she had drunk a half bottle of vodka and four or five cans of lager.
Mr Andrews said: "It was clear that she was very annoyed as she perceived he had been flirting with other women.
"At 1am, she went into the kitchen of their first-floor flat, picked up his bicycle and threw it downstairs, put on some gloves and armed herself with a kitchen knife.
"She returned to the lounge and stabbed him on the left side near the lower ribs. He thought it was a punch, but it became obvious that he was bleeding and an ambulance and police were called."

He is 19 years her junior, so she better get used to him looking at other women. :p
