ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. -- A 6-year-old boy saved his dad's life after he called 911 when his dad would not wake up.
Saturday morning, Altamonte Springs police went to the 600 block of Fenton Place in Altamonte Springs after receiving a 911 call from a 6-year-old boy. Police said the boy told dispatchers "his daddy won't wake up." The boy further stated he thought his daddy was sick and needed help, but did not know why.
Altamonte Springs police was able to assess the medical needs of the father, and get him the medical treatment he needed. The father had gone into a diabetic shock.
