This story reminded me of this one episode of House where they had a morbidly obese patient that needed a catscan but dramatically exeded the weight limit of the table.
Dr. Cameron(a bleeding heart for those who dont watch) demands to still place him in the bed because "this man has the rigth to medical service just like anyone else" or something to that efect, to wich Dr. Foreman replys "So you think the bed will stand on principles alone?"...
What im getting at is the transit authorities where on the absolute rigth to refuse him service if they had the realistic notion he could damage the lifts temporarily leaving many more diseabled passangers witougth means to get in on the bus and the county to foot the bill to fix em.
Its a great thing they have determined he is no harm to the machines and he can return to his normal transportation(I do commend the guy for staying active) but if they had run the check and those machines couldnt lift him, well sory buddy but it shouldnt be the countys responsability to acomodate such extreme needs.

We've all read the stories here where women needed someone to scream "Put the dick down, and back away!" at them.
Who lives near Georgia?
Head on over to this guy's house with a megaphone...
"Put the Twinkie down, and roll away!"

He looks like a fat James Earl Jones.
I can just picture the dude dropping a cookie, picking it up and proclaiming "I have you now!" in the Darth Vader voice...
