KY - Phillip E. Knee, 21, was arrested Monday and charged with murder in the Feb. 4 death of 9-month-old Ethan Lee Cotton. He entered a not guilty plea on Friday.

Knee initially claimed that the his girlfriend and the baby's mother Janice Cotton had been asleep and that he had laid the baby on the sofa with a bottle and went outside for a period of time. Janice Cotton said she woke up and went outside with Knee, and when they re-entered the residence, the infant was unresponsive.

However, after autopsy results were obtained, Knee admitted to "holding the infant with a bottle in its mouth until it stopped breathing." He then laid the child on the couch and went outside.

.... Now this is a car of where the FUCK was the mother? How the hell did she not hear and answer the cries that baby had to have issued? A bottle will drown a child not suffocate it, at least in my experience. What kind of mother ignores. Her baby? This little human she was blessed with? Being young or lacking exprience cannot possibly be a possible excuse that this story will inevitably attempt to claim. I have known plenty young inexperienced mothers and fathers who respond appropriately. The bully host gruff hit should be used to make glue, he may have cut off his horns but I'm sure there is enough to use still. Just as long as they take his head with it.

A western Kentucky man has been convicted of second-degree manslaughter in the death of a 10-month-old boy who smothered after having a bottle held tightly to his mouth.

A Caldwell County jury took five hours Thursday before returning the verdict on Phillip Knee of Dawson Springs. Prosecutors argued that Knee smothered Ethan Cotton, the son of his former girlfriend, by holding a bottle tightly to the baby's mouth until he stopped breathing.

The Paducah Sun reported that Circuit Judge C.A. "Woody" Woodall III directed that Knee be found not guilty of intentional murder, ruling that prosecutors had not proven that charge. I think that it was intentional considering the sick freak held the bottle in place despite being able to see the distress of the baby. The kid wasn't fine untill he just stopped breathing. He gasped, coughed and changed colors I'm sure. Not to mention the writhing and squirming. The thought makes me fucking sick!

I have a really cheap solution to this problem. For less that a dollar a person can buy a bullet and I am sure that there are many people that would volunteer to put it in this guys head.
