BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
-- The man suspected of terrorizing Bakersfield by grabbing women's breasts was arrested on Thursday, police said.
Late morning on Thursday, police service technician Paul Trammell said he located a grey Ford Taurus parked in the east parking lot of the apartment complex at 5101 Marsha Street.
Trammell noticed it was similar to the vehicle used in the assault on Tuesday in the 700 block of Brundage Lane. He also noted the license plate was similar to one provided in the sexual battery assault on Aug. 20, when the suspect's vehicle was described as a gray with the first three characters of the license plate "3PP."
Detectives Keli Reed and Lance O'Nesky took up surveillance on the vehicle.
Several hours later a man got into the vehicle and was stopped a short distance away. Police identified the man as, Walter Steve Aguilar, 19.
Aguilar was interviewed by Detectives Joel Luera and Lance O'Nesky and a search warrant was executed at his residence. They said he was responsible for the one of the four sexual battery cases and an assault on Wednesday in the 700 block of Brundage Lane.
Aguilar was arrested on charges of attempted kidnapping, assault with intent to commit rape and one count of sexual battery and booked into the Kern County Jail.http://www.turnto23.com/news/20729405/detail.html http://i29.tinypic.com/2gxilxc.jpg
