Floyd Earl Butler must've thought this was his lucky day.
The 48 year old freak show had faced two felony counts of sexual abuse of a 9 year old stemming from a June 2008 incident.
Convicted on one account; exposing himself to and performing an oral sexual act on the child, he was sentenced to 25 years as Bubba's bitch. On the second account; fondling the child's genitals during another occurrence, Butler received an acquittal.
And that's where the gigantic fuck up came into play. Tulsa County district court officials apparently faxed two copies of an "order of release" to the county jail in regard to the second count, but failed to fax a copy of the "order of commitment" in regard to the conviction on the first count.
Butler was released, and walked around free for 2 1/2 hours before officials realized the fuck-up and tracked him down at his mother's home in Broken Arrow.
