Paris Cooks, 25, of Allentown
Eric Thomas, 50, of Allentown

LoL, I was just thinking about this the other day, My grown younger brother still ties his shoelaces like a little kids does. I teased him pretty bad over the years about it and he still cant do it the big boy way. Dumbass tard you can almost see his lips moving as he does it, over and under through the loop...

A fight that started as an argument over the tying of a girl's shoelaces Sunday night ended with one man being slashed several times in the arm and another man going to jail, Allentown police said.

Police said they were called to a report of a fight at 9:37 p.m. in the area of Linden and Church streets, but before they arrived, dispatchers notified them that someone had been stabbed. Police found Paris Cooks, 25, of Allentown, with several lacerations to his arm in the area of the 600 block of Linden Street, Assistant Chief Ron Manescu said.

Cooks directed officers to the area of Church and Linden streets where he pointed out Eric Thomas, 50, of Allentown, as the person who slashed him with a pocketknife, Manescu said.

Cooks told police that they had a disagreement over the tying of Cooks' daughter's shoelaces, which led to an argument and then a fight, Manescu said. During the fight, Thomas pulled a pocketknife and slashed Cooks repeatedly because he felt disrespected, he said. Manescu said he did not know what the disagreement with the shoelaces was about.

Thomas was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Karen Devine and sent to Lehigh County Prison under $200,000 bail.

The two men live together, Manescu said.

Sad Rabbit

Once there was a rabbit that was very sad because his ears were so long and narrow that he stepped on them all the time. One day a fairy landed on the bunny's head. She lifted up the bunny's ears and crossed them over like an x. Then she put one ear through the bottom of the x and pulled.

Next, she made each long ear into a loop and made another x like before. She put an ear under that x and pulled again. From then on the bunny remembered how to tie his ears into a bow, and he lived happily every after.

Teepee Tying Story

A Native American made a teepee (pull lace up and cross one under the other) and it collapsed! (pull first "knot" down). So he started another, (make first loop for bow) and he took this string and went around it, (wrap other lace around loop) and went inside, (push lace under new loop) and there he had it! Two Tents! (pull loops for bow) .

A Story For Tying Shoes

My Shoelace Blues I've tried and tried to tie you, shoe. I've never done it yet. A loop that flip-flops on the floor Is as close as I can get. I've practiced on spaghetti. I've practiced on the mop. I've practiced on my sister until she made me stop. So here's the loop again, shoe. I'll hold it with my thumb. I'll wrap the other end around... And yank it into bows. It's done!
