The body of Jeanne Melville went unidentified for more than 38 years until Darke County, Ohio, investigators released a modern composite of their Jane Doe, and it was recognized by Melville's aunt. DNA testing last month confirmed Melville's identity.
Authorities believe Melville was murdered while she was on her way from Green Bay to visit her aunt in Ohio, but police still have no leads on her killer.
Investigators will bring Melville's body back to Green Bay later this month, where the family will have her cremated.
At that time, investigators also plan to follow up with the family as they investigate her death.
