LoL, the police report says Yates has a tattoo on his forehead that says "KNOT".
FORT WALTON BEACH — A man was arrested on Anchors Street after scrapping with a police officer.
The officer had approached Dennis Yates, 40, after reports there was a male talking to himself. Yates' arrest report said the officer ran a check on Yates and found he had an active warrant for his arrest in Bay County.
When the officer attempted to arrest Yates, he tensed his muscles and jerked away, the report said. The officer grabbed Yates' upper arms and tried to detain him again, but both men fell to the ground. Yates grabbed the officer's arms and refused to let go of the officer and stop resisting, the report said.
When the officer freed himself and stood up, Yates grabbed him again. The officer pushed Yates and Yates ran at him, swinging his right arm in an attempt to strike the officer, the report said.
The officer grabbed Yates' arm and pushed him away, but Yates ran at the officer again. In self defense, the officer kicked Yates in the forehead with his right foot, causing him to fall to the ground.
Yates continued to struggle and try to hit the officer in the face as he was arrested. Yates was charged with resisting an officer with violence on July 8.
On his arrest report, it notes Yates has a tattoo on his forehead that says, "KNOT."
