An Oak Ridge man faces three counts of rape of a child related to a second alleged victim, in addition to two counts of aggravated sexual battery that were announced Thursday, according to Union County Sheriff's Sergeant Mike Butcher.
George Lockhart, 49, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly sexually abused a Union County boy on a houseboat on Norris Lake.
Police say the Union County boy escaped from the situation Thursday morning by using a personal watercraft to cross Norris Lake and get help.
Sgt. Butcher says the three new charges are related to a second victim believed to be from Anderson.
Lockhart had previously worked as a school bus driver in Anderson County, according to Sgt. Butcher.
Sgt. Butcher said he could not say how old the alleged victims are, except to say that they are 13 years old or younger.
Deputies arrived at the Waterside Marina just before 2 a.m. Thursday, where the Union County boy told them he'd been abused on a nearby houseboat.
The boy said he and Lockhart were the only passengers on the houseboat and that he waited until Lockhart fell asleep to escape.http://www.volunteertv.com/home/headlines/51049932.html
A camper at Norris Lake heard a boy calling for help and called 911 around 1:51 a.m. Thursday.
The boy said he'd been held against his will and sexually assaulted on a houseboat at Waterside Marina.
The boy said he'd escaped on a personal watercraft from the houseboat to the dock.http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=93338
This one begs the usual question "Where were the parents?"
