Nothing in his comment section but there are some on his blogs.

Interesting photos... the ever-popular MySpace finger salute telling us his IQ. Must have been a party because his friend has the canned cheese out. And one of him all dressed up (in his sister's shirt??)

The baby died on Sunday.Kevin Jarnagin told investigators when his girlfriend’s seven-month-old daughter would not stop crying last Tuesday morning, he intentionally picked her up and threw her into a partially filled bathtub at the Newberg home the couple and her two children shared. He said he acted out of frustration.

His admission is included in a probable cause statement written by Newberg-Dundee Police Detective Eric Ronning.

The 23-year-old Jarnagin said the girl hit her head on the tub’s waterspout and her torso slammed against the side of the tub. She fell face down in the water.

Jarnagin said he was sitting on the toilet and the baby was sitting on the floor next to him when he picked her up. He said he left her face down in the water for about five seconds before removing her from the tub, taking her to a bedroom on the other side of the house at which time she slipped into unconsciousness.

He said he called the baby’s mother, Kari McGrew, at her workplace, the Burger King on Portland Road, and she told him to call 911.
[...]

The baby was identified as Aleeha Hardaway, according to the probable cause statement. She is the biological daughter of McGrew and Dennis Hardaway of Newberg.
[...]

Berry said an autopsy was conducted Monday at the state Medical Examiner’s Office and reports from both hospitals were being aligned for presentation to the grand jury. The autopsy has been completed, but a cause of death has not been officially determined.
[...]

Ronning said he was provided medical records by the Providence Newberg Medical Center staff that indicated the baby had suffered a skull fracture and had two healing rib fractures.

He also obtained records from the OHSU staff that indicated the baby was suffering from liver and spleen injuries consistent with child abuse. A broken pubic bone had healed, according to the OHSU report.

A town grieves for a young boy

Three-year-old Glenn Berger dies when he is struck by a vehicle exiting a parking lot on Portland Road
By David Sale, Newberg Graphic reporter

The young victim of Tuesday’s fatal accident will be remembered in a memorial fund established by Olympic BodyWorks.
Glenn Edward Berger, 3, was run over in the gym’s parking lot shortly before noon Tuesday. The boy was struck when he ran across the parking area in front of the gym, emerging from behind a parked car, police and witnesses said.
Donations may be dropped off or mailed to Olympic BodyWorks, Bank of America’s Newberg branch, or Joan Austin Elementary School.
Paula Kroeker, co-owner of the gym, said Berger was at the gym with his mother, Kari McGrew, who was assisting the business with a co-op daycare program for its members.
“He just got away from her — kids are so quick,” Kroeker said.
McGrew was struck and killed by a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Scott James Foushee, 37, according to a news release from the Yamhill County District Attorney’s Office.
Kroeker identified Foushee as a mortgage broker with offices located behind Olympic BodyWorks.
She also corrected initial accounts, saying that a purple Ford Taurus at the scene belonged to Kari McGrew and was not involved in the accident.
“He feels terrible,” Kroeker said of Foushee. “He never saw a thing.”
The boy was transported to Providence Newberg Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the news release stated.
“It’s been a difficult week for the (Newberg) Fire Department,” Division Chief Frank Douglas said. “Our training is focused on helping someone, but when it’s another human being — especially a child — and you can’t do enough to save them, it stings bad.”
Located in the 2300 block of Portland Road, Olympic Bodyworks has a small parking area of its own, with several storefronts and additional parking to its rear.
Traffic entering or leaving from Portland Road must make an S-turn around the building, which is a blind corner. Vehicles parked in the spaces in front of the gym entrance further reduce visibility.
An investigation by the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, with the assistance of the Yamhill County Multi-Agency Traffic Team, is continuing.
Investigators cordoned off the area in front of the gym Tuesday afternoon to take photographs and measurements of the accident site, and concluded their work by the next day.
Deputy District Attorney Alisha Egan said that her office will await the results of the investigation before deciding whether to pursue charges.
Memorial services for Glenn Berger will be held at 11 a.m. today (Saturday) at the Newberg Christian Church. A candlelight vigil is slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Olympic BodyWorks.

How horrible for the man who hit him. :( This is always my deepest fear on the road. In our tiny little town, kids are out at all hours, riding bikes, running, skateboards, etc. The elementary school is right across the avenue from me, and in the a.m. and evening it can get crazy. The high school is about 2-300 yards away too, and the teens who were never taught better and are apparently too ignorant to figure it out for themselves zoom up and down this road in a crazy way. I have always been extra, paranoid careful when backing out or pulling in. It sounds like this place is in the middle of a town?

And if the first baby who DIED at the hands of her boyfriend had signs of old abuse, to the point of healing fractures, I am less inclined to send too much sympathy toward the mom because her other child "just got away in a second." I realize we haven't heard the full detail of either case, and i'm always willing to admit how cynical I am now, but still--this is a lot of tragedy.

I hope the man who hit this child is going to be okay. He will never heal totally from that--I could not imagine how horrible this would be.

Did anyone read this comment on his IM SEXY blog...

Here is a post that a Co-worker of the child murderer, and of the mother (they both worked at burger king) posted on the message board I frequent (in which we were talking about this case.):

"hey every one my name is Alex and i know a lot about this case i am 19 years old and i used to work with Kevin at Burger King and he was a night and day time shift leader. Let me tell you one thing is that i dont give him any excuse what so ever for the things he has done. he is never right to harm a baby or even a child to the any piont. i also work with the mother and she just needs all the prayers and support out there.
Leading up to this case kevin had lost his job and kinda went a little crazy. but with that said he still has no right to harm a baby at all. Right now the mother has not came back to work but she is still having contact with her employer. She also is pregnant with a set of twins with Kevin.ers i am just asking for the much support and prayers to be sent out there. i have asked our employer i there is any way we can help her with like a memorial to raise money for her baby. when i hear something i will post it up and it would be much help if we can raise enough money for her.
thanks"

Kevin Jarnagin has been indicted by a Yamhill County grand jury on one count each of murder by abuse, first-degree criminal mistreatment and first-degree manslaughter in connection with the death last month of his girlfriend's 7-month-old daughter.
[...]

He was lodged in the Yamhill County Jail on $1 million bail leading up to Friday's court appearance, but Collins placed a no bail hold on him.
[...]

The child was born to McGrew and Dennis Hardaway of Newberg. McGrew is pregnant with twins by Jarnagin and is due in November.

She was in the courtroom Friday, flanked by two members of Victim and Witness Services, including Director Debra Bridges.
[...]

Ronning said he interviewed Jarnagin the first time on the day the child was hospitalized. The defendant said he was home watching the child and McGrew's 8-year-old son while she was at work. She left about 5:30 a.m. He is unemployed after being fired in June from his Burger King job.

The detective said Jarnagin told him four distinctly different versions of events leading up to him calling 911 to report the child was unconscious. He told these stories:

He woke up, gave the child a bath and was dressing her when she slipped into unconsciousness.

He put the child in the tub and while he was turning the water on she fell backwards from a sitting position, hitting her head on the back of the tub and falling under the running water.

He left the child alone in the tub and walked to the other side of the house to get a towel, and when he returned, the child was face down in the water.

He picked up the child, saw foam around her nose and mouth, but still thought she was fine. Then she lapsed into unconsciousness.

[...]
Jarnagin then told another story, saying he dropped the child on the kitchen counter and that she fell to the floor, causing those injuries. He then described the events leading up to the 911 call, but told conflicting stories.

A third interview took place later [...]

Afterward, Ronning said he spoke with the trio of investigators, and they said the defendant admitted to intentionally picking the child up and throwing her into the partially filled bathtub when she wouldn't stop crying.

Ronning said Cobb asked Jarnagin about the child's previous injuries, and he admitted to as many as 10 incidents in March when he squeezed the child hard enough that his actions would have likely broken her ribs and could possibly have caused her broken public bone. Jarnagin also told Cobb that he had previously shaken the baby.

Jarnagin, who has lived in Oregon his entire life and attended Dayton High School, had been living with McGrew and her two children for eight months leading up to his arrest.http://www.newsregister.com/article/41170-defendant+baby039s+death+indicted+murder+abuse+cha rge

How can this woman not have known her baby was being tortured? I work 40+ hours, and when I arrive home, I immediately can tell if my 4 year old has fallen or hurt himself. How can this woman not have known her baby was being abused? It just leads me to believe that she knew and stood by doing nothing.
