" Oh Lord..not the "Michael Jackson Stress" defense! ". I guess being shit faced drunk had absolutely nothing to do with it. One part of the video shows her and her friend in the bar, then running out. Fire must have went out so she went back in and restarted it. Cops found them both across the street, waiting for all the fun to begin. Stupid Tards.
A woman who told police she was "stressed" over a recent fire at her apartment and "because of the death of Michael Jackson", has been arrested for setting fire to a restroom at a Lorain bar.
According to Detective Sgt. Mark Carpentiere of the Lorain Police Department, at 1:25 a.m. Sunday morning, police arrived at Bootleggers Bar, 538 Broadway Avenue after receiving a call that someone had set fire to the women's bathroom.
A bartender told police, Amanda Jarvis, came running out of the restroom and told him the restroom was on fire.
After putting out the fire, which was burning in a trash can, the bartender checked surveillance camera footage and saw Jarvis walk into the restroom twice during a short period of time. After exiting the second time, Jarvis left the bar.
The bartender was able to locate Jarvis a short time later at the Boathouse Bar, 573 Broadway Avenue. He then called police.
According to Carpentiere, the arresting officer asked Jarvis if she knew why the officer had been called to the area. She stated that it was because she had started a fire in the bar's restroom. When asked why she set the items on fire, she replied, "I felt stressed because my apartment had recently caught on fire, and because of the death of Michael Jackson".
According to the arresting officer Jarvis appeared to be heavily intoxicated, and her speech was at times slurred.
Jarvis is awaiting her initial appearance in court.

...... Inside the bathroom at Bootlegger’s Bar, police found a burnt paper towel on the floor, a small trash can that was “severely melted” and a large trash can with a burn mark on it.
