U.S. Airways Flight 705 landed at the Albuquerque International Sunport around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday so the passenger, who has not been named, could be removed from the plane by the Albuquerque Sunport Police.
Passengers told Los Angeles television station KCBS that during the flight they helped to physically restrain the man when he refused to get dressed.
"We actually had to physically hold him down on the floor and handcuff his ankles, his wrists," said Matt McGinnis, who suffered several bruises trying to get the man under control.
When the flight landed, the man was arrested and handed over to the FBI. The flight then continued to Los Angeles.
It is unclear why the man removed his clothing.http://www.wral.com/news/news_briefs/story/5482339/
Flight 705 landed and Keith Wright, 50, was handed over to police.
The newspaper said it wasn't clear why he was acting the way he did, but did say he had had an alcoholic drink at the airport before he got on the plane. The paper said he hadn't had any alcohol on the plane.
He was also taking a medication that when combined with the high altitude could have triggered the behavior, the paper reported.http://www.wxii12.com/news/19917603/detail.html
