Police said Vicky Levitch, 46, tried to drown the 11-year-old boy in her bathtub Monday morning inside an apartment on the second floor of a hair salon on Shore Road in Ogunquit, where she lived.

The owner of the hair salon said he and another man heard a commotion and ran upstairs. Police said that when the two men said they found Levitch attempting to drown the boy, they grabbed her, called 911 and held her until police arrived. Officers called to the house said they found two men restraining Levitch.

"Apparently, they responded to loud voices and loud noises and knew something was wrong and proceeded upstairs to the second-floor apartment and came upon the incident," Ogunquit Town Manager Tom Fortier said. 'It's an unfortunate situation that very easily could have turned tragic if not for the fast response of the residents and our own police department."

Authorities charged Levitch with aggravated assault and refusing to submit to arrest or detention. Levitch is receiving a mental evaluation.

Police did specify what the relationship is between Levitch and the boy, who was reported to be OK.

Those men are heros, as they have saved this boys life.

It would take some doing to drown an 11 yr. old boy, I would think. Glad he was rescued as he was, you never know the strength of these crazy bitches.

Doesn't this thing watch the news? If the boy was possessed, she's supposed to burn him.
What? Oh.
