A 46-year-old homeless man was arrested Monday night in the sexual assault of a female disabled woman.
According to an arrest warrant, Guadalupe Esparza attacked and assaulted the victim in a downtown alley Feb. 23.
The woman, who has Huntington's Chorea disease, a neurodegenerative disorder, went to a Denny's restaurant at the intersection of Commerce Street and Bowie to get help.
DNA samples were taken from Esparza and he was arrested.
He is being held in the Bexar County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
