A Sioux Falls husband and wife face multiple rape and exploitation charges, and are accused of subjecting their children to years of incest, according to court documents.
Cara Kay Prince, 44, and her 14-year-old daughter moved into a Sioux Falls apartment with Prince's husband, Paul Fredrick Churchill, 40, in June 2007, according to court records.
In the ensuing time from June 2007 to this March, Prince and Churchill forced the 14-year-old girl, along with Churchill's 9-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, to engage in numerous sex acts with themselves and in group family sex, according to the court records.
While Prince and Churchill have been married for several years, their children all are from other relationships, said Lincoln County State's Attorney Tom Wollman. After authorities took the children into protective custody, Prince and Churchill fled South Dakota before detectives arrested them in April, Wollman said.

The case began when child protective services contacted Sioux Falls police and accused Churchill of having sex with his son and daughter, as well as Prince's daughter, according to court records.
The three children eventually were interviewed in April at Children's Voice in Sioux Falls and began to recount stories of being forced to have sex with their siblings and parents at two different homes in Sioux Falls, court affidavits show.

An affidavit says in the spring of 2008, Churchill asked the 14-year old girl come over to his house to help him clean. He later led her into his bedroom and offered to pay her $5 to "jump on top of him", which after some time, led to intercourse. She says it was painful and afterward; he told her "thank you."
Papers say in the fall of 2008, the two girls went to Churchill's home again and he again offered money for sex acts, which led to them giving him oral sex.
In March, two of the children visited Childs Voice, a child abuse investigation unit. In separate interviews, they told an investigator they were told to touch each other's "privates" and used an anatomical doll to demonstrate just what would happen. The 9-year old boy says he also took part in sex acts with a girl while Churchill watched so that Churchill would not whip them. And the 7-year old girl told the interviewer Churchill raped her more than once and that she had told him to stop because it hurt.
