Tiffany Nicole Mack Wilson Kills and Buries Infant

LEXINGTON, GA – 17-year-old Tiffany Nicole Mack Wilson has been denied bail by an Oglethorpe County judge after letting her newborn son die and burying his body in her backyard.

According to Oglethorpe County Sheriff Mike Smith, Wilson’s father found the child’s body in a shallow grave and called police who investigated and eventually arrested Wilson later that day.

She admitted to giving birth to the child nearly a month ago and left him on the back porch before leaving for school. By the time she returned the child was dead and she buried him behind the house, Sheriff Smith said.

Officials state that the case was transferred to Superior Court for a possible indictment on Tuesday. She faces charges of murder and concealing a body.

LEXINGTON, Ga. -- A teenage mother has been indicted on murder charges after police said she left her newborn son to die and then buried the body in her yard.

According to court documents filed Thursday, an Oglethorpe County grand jury has charged Tiffany Nicole Mack Wilson, 17. with felony murder, malice murder and concealing a death in the Feb. 11 killing.

Authorities said Wilson admitted to giving birth to her son, wrapping him in a cloth and then leaving him on her back porch while she went to school. Investigators said when the Oglethorpe County High School student returned home, she buried the dead child in a shallow grave in her family's back yard.

The body was discovered a month later by Wilson's father.

Wilson has been in jail without bond since her arrest in March.

They may have already left for work. It was pretty cold that day. The low temp that day was 34 and it appears they live in a wooded area so not much sun. The baby probably froze.

It makes me think she did it on purpose, because she chose not to left the baby inside the house.

and it seems like she wanted to get caught - or for someone to find it. i mean, unless she was pressed for time, the porch? or was she just lazy? round here they are found in the dumpster. but she didnt have or need one i guess. still - weird. how people think amazes me.
