A 25-year-old Spanaway woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder charges in the beating death of her 5-month-old son, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Domenique Conway is accused of punching Nathaniel Noel in the head several times and subsequently causing his death, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office said.

According to charging documents obtained by KIRO 7, Conway was changing the boy's diaper on March 5 and became frustrated when he would not stop crying and squirming. Documents said she was also angry because her two other children, ages 2 and 6 years old, were fighting in an adjacent room.

Police said Conway denied noticing symptoms of the boy’s head injury, including lethargy and vomiting over a four-day period and did not seek any medical attention for the boy until Sunday when she called 911 to report that her son was unconscious.

Shit fire, the 9 months I was pregnant with both my kids, I was sick as a dog, suffered like a motherfucker and hated being pregnant a lot of the time. I worked too damn hard and went through hell, I'll be goddamned if I'd hurt that kid, hell no it's going to live, and be happy, or else!:p

Family Defends Mother Accused In Punching Death Of Baby

TACOMA, Wash. -- The family of a Spanaway woman accused of killing her baby with a punch to the head came to the woman's defense in an interview Tuesday night, saying she was overwhelmed and that she snapped.

Domenique Astrid Conway, 25, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to a charge of second-degree murder in the death of her 5-month-old son. Her bail was set at $500,000.

"I understand what she did is wrong. I understand that. But I don't think she intentionally meant to do that at all," said Stephan Noel, the victim's father.

Conway's father said she was under enormous stress after the premature birth of the boy, Nathaniel, and his twin brother, Stephan. Each child weighed 2 pounds at birth.

"It's always been her big thing about being a mom, being a parent," said Leonard Conway.

Workers at Child Protective Services had been giving medical advice and assistance to Conway, who reluctantly agreed recently to place Stephan with medical foster parents.

Conway also has a 2-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter.

Police said she hit the baby because he was crying too loud and squirming while she was changing his diapers.

Pierce County sheriff's Detective Ed Troyer said Conway called 911 Sunday night and said her baby was unconscious. He was dead when deputies arrived, and Troyer said an autopsy revealed that he had a fractured skull.

To brutally punch your own baby in the face and to let him sit there and suffer for 4 days is inexcusable! Stressed out or not! Get a sitter. Take a break. Go in the other room for 10-15 minutes for fucks sake. I can't tell you how many times I've had to count to 10, or 100 for that matter before dealing with one of my children. But I did! And they are all still here today....alive and without brain damage.

And we've got no need to worry about the other two kids either, because she just snapped. It isn't like she'll do it again, because she's not responsible or intelligent enough to have kids.


You know, I hate government intrusion into pretty much anything, but I'm inclined to advocate that this bitch be, at the very least, sterilized. No need to give her another kid to fuck up, when there are still two living ones left for her ignorant ass to ruin.
