Albuquerque Police said her 10-month-old baby ingested meth and got sick. Officers were called to University of New Mexico Hospital Thursday, after it was reported the baby tested positive for meth.

The baby's mother Anndrea Thomason, 19, was arrested a short time later.

I agree... if you don't want a kid or have better things to do (like drugs) then why not just give the baby up to a family that is desperate for a child ?

I honestly do not understand how some parents feel like giving their baby up for adoption would somehow be worse than exposing them to their fucked up lifestyle, dumping them in a garbage can, or murdering them.
