BOULDER, Colo. -- The Boulder Police Department arrested a man on Wednesday night after he allegedly entered the wrong house to sleep off a bender.
Police said they received a 911 call about two men arguing inside of a home in the 1600 block of Arapahoe Avenue. When officers arrived, they said they discovered Joseph Simpson had entered the house intoxicated and fell asleep.
The problem was, it wasn't his house. Simpson, 21, was charged with first-degree trespassing.
This is the second time in less than a month Simpson has been charged with trespassing. According to Boulder County court records, Simpson was charged with first degree trespassing after being arrested by Boulder police on May 8. He is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing on his first trespassing case on May 28.
