I kind of like some of the new laws coming out, These AssHat parents should be charged for this kind of shit, especially Meth. Take that shit outside Bitch.
Otoe County investigators say adults on a methamphetamine binge in a Syracuse mobile home May 2 exposed five children to the drug.
The mother of four of the children, 28-year-old Nakita Schultz, and the mother of four-year-old boy, 24-year-old Jessica Mikuchonis, have been charged with child abuse.
“We have information that all of the kids were exposed to the drugs. Obviously we take these cases very seriously,” said Otoe County Attorney David Partsch.
“It’s bad enough when people are harming themselves with illegal drugs, but when they have no regard for minor children who can’t protect themselves and can’t remove themselves from the situation, then we have a duty to protect these kids,” Partsch said.
Partsch said he is awaiting results of tests on the childrens’ hair and fingernails that could indicate long-term exposure. Otoe County sheriff’s deputies obtained a search warrant for the trailer house at 258 Mohawk Street on Sunday morning.
Partsch said 38-year-old Marcus Richardson of Lincoln has been charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver for bringing the drugs into the house. Richardson is also charged with child neglect.
According to court records, meth was smoked and injected on several occasions through the night. Drugs were used in the living room of the trailer and in a bedroom. Partsch said the women face felony charges of intentional child abuse.
“The children were placed in a situation that endangered their lives or health and deprived them of necessary care,” he said.
