I feel obligated to contribute important information regarding myself. Why, I don't fucking know....cause everyone else is doing it, shit fire! *sticks tongue out*
First of all, I found this site when I heard about Rowan Ford. I Googled her name. Saw the Dreamin'Demon, the name intrigued me, so I thought I'd check out the site. I immediately became addicted. I thought Morbid the fucking bomb, a character, a wonderful man. (Don't go and be getting a bigger fucking head now there boss;) ) It also became a place for me to vent anger, a place to laugh my ass off, and a place to remind me how sweet my fucking life really is.
Okie Dokie about me: I am honest as fuck. Blunt. Loving. Anxiety-Ridden, Bitchy at times, and honestly a tad crazy.:D A wonderful friend and yep, I consider myself a hippie. I live with Mr. Hip and my two beautiful children. I have two tabby cats; Mr. Whiskers and Cosmic Charlie aka Charlie Garcia. I have one absolutely fabulous Pit Bull named Mia Louise Pearl, who btw are all in the DD picture thread.
I live on the farm that I grew up on since age 10. Mr. Hip and I acquired it several years ago. I have two incredible sisters and one computer geek brother. lol
I graduated high school in 1982 and that same year I started Nursing School and I graduated in 1983 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Throughout my over 20 years in nursing I attended many classes and gained enough CEU's that if I wanted to...I could probably get my degree in a year. But, due to getting really burned out and health problems, I now stay at home.
I live a pretty simple life. I really don't drive. I hate cars....long story. I'm not a shopper type chicklet, unless you're taking my ass to the book store and then, well I am lost. Let's see, what else? I love to read and write poetry, although of late I seem to have lost my muse. I collect a lot of different shit like....old postcards, stamps, old medical books, cookbooks, shells and fossils. I love good coffee. I am an outside summer freak, I love to push mow the grass (around 3 acres), and garden.
I love sterling silver jewelry and natural gemstones. I have too many earrings and so not enough! I wear 12 rings on 9 of my fingers and am looking for a perfect thumb ring for my left hand....I hate a naked finger (well, mine anyway:p ).
I love the Grateful Dead and listen to them daily....it is therapeutic. I am a huge Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter fan. I wear tie-dyes and long skirts, most of the time....my house is very colorful and eclectic. I've traveled to a lot of states with Mr. Hip due to his job, and going to various music shows and festivals. I am very much grounded to my home now, and pretty much won't go anywhere far, unless it is by train or plane.
(yes, I am a tad bit agoraphobic shhhhhhhhh)
One last thing...I am pleased as pie to be working in the Lit threads....(I'm sorry Morbid that it came down to me having to threaten you and the couch to get that fucking job):p
