Robin Cedrick Anderson, 18, of 24850 County Road 110, Callaway, has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a serious felony.
According to court records:
On Sunday, Anderson approached a group of teens at the BMX race track near the Becker County Fairgrounds, and they went to his residence, where he allegedly gave them Keystone beer and gave one of them, a 15-year-old boy, three sleeping pills.
Later that evening, he allegedly approached the 15-year-old while they were alone in the living room and sexually assaulted him using force. He allegedly burned the boy’s back with a cigarette lighter and slapped the back of his head several times during the course of the assault.
When questioned, he told an investigator that the boy slept overnight at his home and left the next morning.
His attorney, Timothy Dodd of Detroit Lakes, said his client is innocent.
“To say that we vigorously dispute these allegations would be an understatement,” he told District Judge Lisa Borgen, at a hearing Thursday afternoon.
Assistant Becker County Attorney Tammy Merkins asked for bond to be set at $200,000, since the charge carries a presumptive prison term and Anderson could thus be considered a flight risk. She also asked for the high bond out of concern for public safety.
Dodd argued that amount is prohibitively high. “He’s never been charged with a felony, he lives with his mother, he attends online school,” Dodd said, adding that some form of house arrest would be more reasonable. He said $25,000 “would be more appropriate, if cash bail is needed.”
Borgen split the difference, setting bail or bond at $100,000, with conditions that include no contact with the alleged victim, no unsupervised contact with minors, no alcohol or drugs, and no leaving the state.

My name is Robin Cedrick Anderson. I am a senior, i do online school its pretty sweet. I like to hang out with friends at the beach, go wakeboarding, tubing, cruise the strip, and playin frolf. Racing bmx is my passion. I love the ocean, i go to florida a couple times a year to spend time with my dad, he lives right by panama city beach so thats pretty sick i would do anything for my family and friends, im pretty easy to get along with for the most part, just dont act like someone your not to impress me. I hate fake people and people who are stuck up. In the long Minnesota winters i like to ride sleds i have a 2001 polaris xc edge 600, snowboardings one of my favorite things to do. I used to live in Alaska i miss it sometimes but then again not so much. If you wanna know anything else just ask......
I bet he has a juvie record of some sort. The "online school" and "never been charged with a felony" things look funny to me.
