Tricia Mallernee, 32, is in trouble for allegedly seducing a 17-year-old exchange student into a sexual relationship.
"The big thing that makes this fall within the parameters of child seduction is the fact that she was the legal care giver to him," said Det. Mitch Carroll, Anderson Police Department.
No one answered the door at the Mallernee home Friday.
According to the probable cause, after the teen moved in, Mallernee gave him alcohol before having sex with him. Police say she even admitted to repeated encounters.
"She offered a full confession as to what had happened," said Carroll.
On her MySpace page, Mallernee wrote about being married for 11 years, and having a ten-year-old son and a seven-year-old daughter. She also posted milestone pictures of Boomer and the exchange student at his first NBA Game, his first Steak & Shake dinner, plus family holiday photos of the teen surrounded by Christmas gifts.
"We did an interview with him and it does take a police officer to realize we got a problem here," said Carroll.
After interviewing the student and Mallernee, prosecutors charged her with 57 counts of child seduction and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Mallernee bonded out of jail and the exchange student is out of her home and staying with a foster family. According to detectives, their accounts of the relationship is pretty much the same.
"Over an eight-month time probably as many as 60 incidents," said Carroll.
Police say when the exchange student wanted to stop their sexual encounters, Mallernee refused and insisted on more sex.
The foreign exchange organization performed a background check on Tricia Mallernee and adults in her family before placing the student in her home. It also checked references but found no red flags with anyone in her family.

Stupid bitch and doing this in her home with kids and husband there can't quite figure it all out. I can't believe the nerve of this woman and when the student wanted to stop she wasn't willing to give it up. I think she became obsessive with him.
