A 32-year-old Lancaster man was charged Tuesday with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl.
Alfredo Juarez, 32, was charged by Lancaster city police with one count of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age.
Juarez was arraigned Tuesday by District Judge Cheryl Hartman and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Because the alleged victim is a minor, police are revealing few details about the case. However, court records indicate that the girl's mother said she observed Juarez molesting the girl and directed someone to call police about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Officer Jared Snader responded to the call and arrested Juarez, who was attempting to flee, according to the criminal complaint.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl's mother told police that she confronted the Juarez, who admitted to her that he had inappropriately touched the girl.
Juarez also was charged with one count of making terroristic threats. The girl's mother told police that Juarez said "if he were to go to jail he would pay someone to kill (her)," according to the criminal complaint.

If the mother observed him doing this to her child I hope she stopped him and didn't let him go any further. Please if I observed someone touching my child I'd be kicking his fucking ass.
