Well, let's see, going through your manual up there, I guess I went through some pretty horrific stuff as a baby. What was my childhood like? Just take a look at the "no's" for Fun Games for Baby, Calming Baby, Stimulating Baby, Bonding with Baby, Making Baby Smile, and, um...yeah...I'm NOT EVEN going there when it comes to babysitters. :D

That being said, now that you have posted once get to it and let us know how you feel about things. I'm sure you've seen that we've all got pretty big mouths (er...loud typing??) and we're not afraid of making ourselves heard. Welcome!

The little boy is my son, Jakob (obviously, lol) and it was his first time out in the snow. He had a blast.

My best friend's 3-year-old is also named Jakob, with a 'K'. Looks like, in everyone's attempt to be unique, they converged!

Actually we weren't trying to be unique for the hell of it. Jakers was conceived in Germany and that's how they spell it so it was our way of paying homage to a wild July 4th weekend. Fireworks indeed!

Very interesting to see someone on this small board (Compared to other boards I'm on) have the same spelling. I have only seen one other person spell it with a 'k' and that was on the front page of this site, some crack addict who abused her kids had a son with the name.

Thank you :) I can never decide what I want to put on my avatar, I take so many pictures of Jakob during the day (he is a camera hog, "Mommy CHEEESEE" lol) so I constantly want to change them so I can see it throughout the day.
