A 41-year-old man is behind bars after authorities say he tried to force his way into an Immokalee nightclub with a machete.
Vidal Solis, 41, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Solis arrived at the front entrance of Chile Caliente and asked to enter the club. An employee told Solis that the club was at full capacity, and shut the door.
Moments later Solis forcefully pulled the door open, entered with a machete, and began yelling profanities, reports said. The employee pulled the door from Solis’s hand, and shut him out.

Only in Florida would I imagine some dude riding around on his bicycle with a machete. Must be something in the air.
