Hi

I have been having fun here for the last few weeks, and really enjoy the company. A little about me....well, hell...I've already said so much on the news/blog posts, that I don't know what else to add. I often think I'm funnier than I really am, I have a smart mouth, six kids, a husband in the military, and I really do try hard not to hurt other people's feelings, or offend them. Unfortunately, it seems that I was born with an innate lack of tact, so I often fail miserably. I think I've spent half of my time on here apologizing to people, another half trying to defend myself, and another half just saying stupid stuff in response to the stories. Wait a minute.....that's three halves......lets see...1+1=.....4? well, math never was my strong suit. My children range in age from college freshman (18yrs) to 2 yrs old. I only have one boy out of the bunch, and he's the baby. Spoiled slap rotten too. (But, so are all of the girls):) I enjoy coming to this blog for many reasons. The people are friendly, the topics are interesting, I gain a greater depth and appreciation for the gift God gave me in my children; and if I am having a bad day and start to feel sorry for myself, I can skim through any one of these stories, and know that my life is such a blessing, that I really have no right to complain. I'm really glad to be here, and would like to say that I'm trying to reduce the lengths of my posts - really, I am - but, I guess getting to converse with someone other than a child during the day is still such a novelty for me that I am failing miserably in that department too. ;)

Welcome to the site, Angel. I have read your comments. Although they do make for long, interesting reads that I usually enjoy while swinging in a hammock between two oak trees and a nice, tall, cold glass of lemonade...I have never thought you were out of line. Nothing you have typed, that I have read, seemed to have a hateful tone to it.

Seriously, as far as the front page goes, I think we are equal opportunity offenders and if people don't like what they are reading, they can just skip over it. :)

I'm sure your husband hears it all the time so I want to make sure to thank you for what you do being a military wife. The job you do is tiring, endless and most of the time thankless, but it just as important (in some ways more important) as what he does. Especially with 6 kids, and especially if he's deployed. Been there, done that myself and it ain't always pretty and it damn sure ain't fun. Keep your chin up and know that I appreciate everything you both do.

Imp, what I'm drinking is coffee, straight from the pot, since I haven't been sleeping. What I would like to be drinking is Kahlua and cream.
But 6kids(3sick)+alcoholic beverage = Angel with her own story on the front page of DreaminDemon. I think I'll stick to reading about others:lol:
