Damn, what a Crazy-Ass-Drunken-Mountain-Man. They need to take his Hooch away from him , let him sober up a bit before letting his shaggy ass back out on the road.
McMINNVILLE, Ore. -- McMinnville police arrested a man on driving under the influence charges twice in one day, reported KPTV-TV.
Carl Reeves, 52, of Salem, was stopped at 11 a.m. after he ran a red light in his pickup truck, according to Officer Mike LaRue.
A breath test showed Reeves had a blood alcohol level of .26 percent -- more than three times the legal limit of .08, police said. Reeves was arrested, but later released into the custody of his grandmother.
His pickup truck was impounded.
Several hours later, the tow company released Reeves' pickup to another person with the understanding that Reeves was not allowed to drive, according to police. But a tow company employee said he spotted Reeves get behind the wheel of the truck and drive away.
McMinnville police officers followed Reeves to the McMinnville Liquor Store and saw him drive away from the store. They stopped him for another traffic infraction and arrested him again. This time, police said, Reeves had a blood alcohol level of .20 percent.
He was taken to the Yamhill County Correctional Facility and held on a $6,250 bail.
