A 41-year-old woman was arrested early Friday after she allegedly broke into her daughter’s home and threatened people there with a knife.
Dorinne Withers of the 1600 block of North Ninth Street is accused of breaking into the residence in the 500 block of North Ridgely Avenue through a basement window about 4 a.m. Once inside, she allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and threatened her daughter and another woman who lives at the house.
A male occupant was able to subdue Withers and grab the knife, police said. When officers arrived, they found Withers in the roadway.
