I guess dumb and Dumber, never got the criminal hand book that says to act inconspicuous while waiting for gas to go off. Maybe a mask would have helped as well.

Two men are facing charges after Henderson Police responded to a suspicious package call Tuesday night at a Henderson store.

Police say the two packages did contain low-level home-made devices that exploded outside the Burlington Coat Factory on North Stephanie Street. The arrested men are 27-year-old John Morgan and 42-year-old Roger Jenkins.

He said employees at a Burlington Coat Factory were concerned about suspicious behavior from two adult male customers and asked the men to leave the store.

"As John Morgan was leaving the store, employees and customers heard a loud popping sound and they saw some white smoke coming from the items," Rasmussen said.

The blast left employees and customers coughing and eyes burning. "It was an explosion because of a mixture of gases and chemicals that were ammonia based." The items were low-level and homemade containers.

Eyewitness News has learned Jenkins has a long history with local law enforcement, including convictions for robbery and drugs. Court documents reveal that Morgan has also served prison time for burglary.

According to the Clark County Detention Center, Jenkins and Morgan still sit in jail, and have refused an interview.

Jenkins is facing charges including being in possession of a gun, possession of someone else's credit cards, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of burglary tools. Morgan is facing charges of using an explosive to damage a building, possession of an explosive device, burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Authorities said they have made progress in the investigation, but they have not released a motive.

Ohh How cute Johnny has his own fan club.

Danni says
Johnny is innocent. His past conviction was over 7 years ago. He is the most loving and caring man I ever met. If you knew him, you'd know the truth. I love him with all my heart and I'm standing by him. I don't care what anyone thinks. He didn't commit the crimes he's being accused of. Free Johnny!
