Georgia couple accused of beating child with paddles, belts
(AP) -- A Cobb County woman and an Atlanta have been arrested and charged with child cruelty for allegedly beating a three-year-old girl with wooden paddles, leather belts and plastic cords.
Arrest warrants for 24-year-old Jovanda Nicole Irving and 25-year-old and Rudolph Lemal Nunnally say raw flesh was visible on
the girl's buttocks and she had extensive bruises covering her torso, head and face. Cobb police were called after neighbors reported hearing screams and the two were arrested. The girl was taken to Scottish Rite hospital for examination.
The suspects' relationship to the girl was not disclosed in the warrants. Irving, who also was charged with giving a false name, was denied bond. Bond for Nunnally has been set at $75,000.

I totally agree, like you can't hit a 3 year old hard enough with your hand?!!!! She's 3!!!! I can't even imagine the screaming horror the neighbors heard. I really am glad someone called this in before her injuries got worse...we all know all too well how it ends...She's alive:) and hopefully safe.

Irving admitted to police that she hit the girl on her buttocks with a belt and the paddle, but said the injuries were not severe. Nunnally tried to escape out the back (coward) of the South Cobb Drive apartment as officers arrived, according to police.
Both Irving and Nunnally blamed each other for the child’s injuries. Neighbors told police they heard male and female voices in the apartment yelling “hold her down” and “stop her” as well as screaming.

Nunnally tried to escape out the back (coward) LOL @ the coward making a run for it. What a loser.
Thank goodness the neighbors reported them. This child might have ended up dead if this had continued.

Please..Oh please DO NOT give this child back to these people.....please find a loving home for her to grow up in.....so she may have many birthday parties, go to school, get hugs and kisses, and told "I love you" every single day!!!!!

''HOLD HER DOWN''??!!!! JesusfuckingChrist! She was 3 yrs old, and it took one of them to 'hold her down' while the other one beat her, to 'discipline' this child? What was she, some kind of demonic hellion?
I would pay good money to have 15minutes with these asshats, and my schooling whip. GOOD money.
