An eastern Kentucky woman faces dozens of counts of animal cruelty, after animal control officials find animals living in filth at her home.

Animal control says there were all types of dogs on Manda Fletcher's property, some in the house, some in cages, others running around outside. Most were in such bad shape they had to be put down.

Fletcher says she was trying to help them. The seven dogs that were OK we're told were placed in homes. Fletcher's four children were taken by social workers and given to other family members.

Fletcher is charged with 46 counts of animal cruelty.

Sketchy article, but here are pictures of her home from the video. GAD...I've seen cleaner pigstys.

When she didn't have the means or the motivation to take care of her own children, what made her decide to start a collection of dogs? Between the animal abuse and the child neglect, I hope this worthless slob ends up with a sentence that means something (and not just a slap on the wrist).

It just blows my mind that anyone would choose to live in these conditions. Especially when you have children and animals running around.
