This is a lil old, but I've spent the past few days being dead. I couldn't wait to share this,because its a winner.
So...Junior McWherter was missing,again. He took off a few days at a time quite often, but someone always seemed to know where he was. This time,no one did. He was no where to be found in East St. Louis,Ill.
McWherter Sr had heard police found a body near some rental property the family owned,so he went by there. This is what he had to say on the matter:
"When I got there, I saw six cop cars, a hearse, yellow crime tape and a dead body," McWherter Sr. said. "A policeman came up and said, 'That body looks just like you.'"
"He looked just like my son," McWherter Sr. recalled. "He had two missing front teeth like my son. He had a beard like my son. The coroner asked if I needed to see another picture. I told him, 'I don't need another picture.' You'd think they were Siamese twins."
Investigators did not run prints as they had a positive ID. Family mourned at the OPEN CASKET funeral. SR and III looked upon Jr together, and sat down together and prayed silently. One by one,visitors mourned Jr McWherter as they passed the OPEN CASKET.
The next day, Michelle McWherter, Jrs estranged wife got a call..... from Jr. He was in rehab across the river in St. Louis trying to kick a crack habit. Police ran the prints and discovered the McWherter family buried Kenny Stainback.
