Michael Updike tries to rape daughter on patio

(VANCOUVER, Wash.) - Deputies in Clark County, Washington arrested a man for attempting to rape his daughter on his patio Sunday.

Sergeant Bill Roberts with the Clark County Sheriff's Office, says at approximately 4:45 p.m. Sunday, "a tearful teenage brother called Clark County 911 to report his father was attempting to rape the caller's younger sister on the patio."

He says approximately three minutes later, Deputy Rick Osborne arrived and witnessed the partially clad juvenile and partially clad adult male on the patio.

Curious how old the victim is and the brother. The brother is no doubt her champion....brave boy. The sick excuse for a father should have his junk cut off and handed to him to bleed out.

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Deputies said a Clark County man was arrested after they caught him trying to have sex with a teenage girl.

Investigators said Michael Updike was arrested on charges of attempted rape and incest after a family member made an emotional 911 call and told dispatchers he caught Updike trying to rape the teenager.

Clark County deputies said when they arrived at the home they found Updike and the alleged victim both partially dressed on a patio.

According to court records, Updike, who was in court Monday, is a self-employed landscaper who in the past may have had an alcohol problem.
