Sanchez was at the Walmart on Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce and was seen by loss prevention staff putting items into a diaper bag and around an infant in a car seat. She had an infant and a small female child with her at the store, according to the affidavit.
Sanchez approached the checkout counter and then abandoned the children and ran out of the store. Police said they saw Sanchez put the diaper bag into her car before locking it. Police asked her for the diaper bag and she gave it to them. Police said the bag contained clothing, including swimming suits, boys pants, five pairs of shoes, jeans and socks valued at $178.
What is up with women stealing clothes from Wal-mart lately? If you're going to be a thief, why not choose a nicer place?
