Holey SHit, Mommy needs to get back on her meds for fucks sake. She even said to the kids : “I’m just going to kill you mother fuckers”. Geeze get a freakin grip already.

SILVER SPRINGS SHORES – A mother who threatened her three children with a butcher knife because they didn’t say they loved her was arrested early Sunday on aggravated assault and child abuse charges, Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports state.

Natasha Regina Brinkley, 43, of Oak Lane Road, was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault and child abuse, according to Deputy Michael Paasche’s report.

The incident unfolded at 10 p.m. Saturday when Brinkley’s husband and father of their children, Paul Esposito, returned home with the children after a day out with the kids at a family friend’s house.

Brinkley, who was at home while they were gone, was acting normal, but quiet, when they returned, the report states. While she was making dinner, Brinkley became upset because the children were tired and would not answer questions about their day.

“Due to her [Brinkley] violent temper, he [Esposito] and the children kept quiet as she continued to escalate yelling at them,” the report states.

The mother then threatened to leave since no one cared about her. When no one reacted, she asked the children if they “loved mommy.” When they did not answer, the mother began yelling obscenities.

After Esposito told the children to go into the computer room, the mother picked up a small glass table and threw it at them. When the mother began crying, the children ran after her, the report stated.

That’s when Brinkley grabbed a butcher knife, held it in an attack position and said: “I’m just going to kill you mother [expletive],” the report states.

That’s when Esposito stepped between Brinkley and the children. He then dialed 911 and Brinkley hung up the phone and began punching Esposito in the back of the head. That’s when the Sheriff’s Office arrived and arrested Brinkley.

During interviews with the children, they learned that one of the children, who are not being identified, was choked by Brinkley two weeks prior to the incident.

Brinkley remains in the Marion County Jail under no bond until her first appearance hearing, which is scheduled for Monday morning.

With all the problems I have ever had with my mother, she has never pulled a knife on me. I am so fucking lucky.

Holy Cats, that is one bat shit crazy bitch!! Daddy needs to get the divorce papers moving along and full custody with no visitation at all until she is back to somewhat normal.

And even then, no visits unsupervised and no over nighters. Period.

Poor kids, poor husband, those kids must have been scared to death.

My mom went bat shit crazy like this a few times. she had a knife and chased us all around the house once, for making to much noise I think. Her doctor gave her a total hysterectomy and it made her wonkers for a year or 2. They didn't giver her any hormones or what ever just sent her home after the operation.

[Taz's mom's] doctor gave her a total hysterectomy and it made her wonkers for a year or 2.

Oh yeah. The worst fights Mom and I ever had were during and shortly after her hysterectomy. I mean, I was a teenager, my baby brother was a toddler, and her husband was an asshole, so it was kind of hard to tell which was the worst part, but I sincerely think going through all of menopause in the timespan of a surgery is hard on a body.

I imagine this husband has dealt with her abuse for years. I doubt he ever wanted to admit to anyone that he was being abused by his wife. In our society we believe that men are the abusers and women the victims. So not true. But to me this really sounds like he is a victim. I hope for his sake and the kids he does divorce her and that she limited on her visitation of the childre. I also hope she gets some help before this gets any worse than it already is.

I'm out of thanks and rep, Seductress, but you are so right! We can make generalizations according to sexes and gender roles, but there are cases that aren't in the majority, like this.

I also hope she gets help. Real help. Unlike some people's, this mother's problems may well be treatable.

I agree with Seductress. This was not a one time thing. Like the husbands or boyfriends who have killed their wives/girlfriends, they didn't wake up one morning and decided to be an abusive POS. They were always that way. This woman was simply looking for an excuse to hit, demean and threaten her husband and kids. And like many who have gone through DV, no matter what this husband or kids did, it wouldn't be enough. She still found something. Men are also victims of DV but we just don't hear about it as much. Take the reasons many women don't report abuse and mutiply that by a thousand.
The reason I bet the husband stayed? To be the punching bag as much as possible so the kids wouldn't have to be. Because if they had gone to court, my guess is she could have made abuse charges against him, or been faced with a Family Court judge who like many believes the kids belong with the mother no matter what etc. She would have ended up with the kids and with no hubby to take her anger out on, the case we saw above would have ended with the death of one or all of her kids. If there's any justice in this world, this woman will be locked for years to come. As to her getting help, she's not any different then most men who have beaten and abused their other half. IMO, she's beyond help.
