A 23-year-old man, upset that his mother refused to give him money, held a knife in one hand and a golf club in the other, threatening that if his mother left the house, "you will get it," according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
The report says Andrew C. Forbes argued with his mother at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the New Port Richey home they share. She was able to escape the house.
Forbes is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is being held in jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
